Special Display Yamaha at Assen & Laguna Seca

Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will be different in the race at Assen and Laguna Seca this year. There they will perform with special livery Yamaha.

This year the 50th anniversary of Yamaha's involvement in motor racing world championship grand prix. That's why a special livery titled 'YZR-M1 WGP50th Anniversary Edition' will be introduced.

Livery that put forward the view that ever used iconic Yamaha in the past that will be used in the Dutch MotoGP race on 25 June and MotoGP United States on 24 July.

"I like these colors, it's all really have a historic element. (Phil) Read, (Giacomo) Agostini, they all had previously used a similar color model when winning, so the opportunity to use it on the YZR-M1 is very exciting," said Lorenzo in Autosport.

"This is a very special year for Yamaha and we hope that these colors will give us good luck in these two races," he continued.

Lorenzo opinion was shared by Spies. Moreover, he will perform with special livery in his own country, the United States.

"It could use such a special livery in Assen and also in the race at Laguna kandangku really incredible. I think it would look very nice and I look forward to the time when everyone can see it," Spies straightforward.

Livery itself will provide the color combination of white and red, with black accents.
